My favourite TV show

Well, I don't see a lot of TV actually, I hate it, but there is some shows that I really like a lot, like some serials, but from others countries, because the chilean TV it is really really bad. For example, one of my favourite serials it is Dexter, the show tell us the story of Dexter, a serial killer who works at the police station in Miami, investigating the blood marks in the crime scene, the story is really good, I have to admit that I've seen almost one season in one day (yeah, i'm crazy), the story it's based on a book, but the serial it's longer an with more "enemies", who are serial killers too. It's important to say that Dexter it's commanded by an ethical code, desiged by his father, who detected the Dexter's condition since he was a child, with this code, dexter it's limitated just to kill people who has killed other people. He take advantage of his job as a medical examiner to dont be caught as an serial killer, and the people who know his consition it's very limited. The plot it's amazing, it's that kind of serial that you cannot stop see once you have started, I really recomend it, I know you will love it!

If you could be any Star Wars character, who would you be?

An Star Wars character? That's easy to answer, I woulld like to be Jabba the Hutt obviously, think about it, Jabba have the most comfortable lifestyle, most than every character of the movie, every one loves Jabba the Hutt, and every one have an debt with him, because Jabba it's something like an mafia boss, and for that reason, he have a lot of money too. Something important, is that Jabba the Hutt it's eating something every time, and it's just here viewing how the things happen, because he don't have to do something, he will have someone to do the dirt job every time he wants.
Yes, Jabba the Hutt is badass...nah just kidding, who wants to be Jabba? it's the worst charachter of the movie, I would like tobe Obi Wan Kenobi, the great Jedi master, he teached to Darth Vader, it was his own master, no one compares to Obi Wan, (and it apears in all the movies, as a Ghost in the episode V, and in the Episode VI). If you think, Obi wan killed Darth Maul and the guy with four arms too, man, Obi Wan is really amazing. Well, and I would like to be one more character...Han Solo, because for his attitude facing a problem, he is the owner of the Millenium Falcon too, and obviously, Leia is in love with him, is the best life ever.

My Favourite Piece of Art

I really love art, and choose my favourite piece it's a few dfficult for me. I dont know if I have to choose at the popular way, or choose one of the classic master piece, but I will just take the way I like more: the popular art.
Obviously, my favourite kind of art is the music, and at the popular music, I consider the albums really pieces of art, My favourite album now it is Discipline, the eighth studio album by the british Progressive Rock band King Crimson, the album it was released at 1981, and it is the first album since 1974 (the first separation of the band).
I really love that album, it was a real change at the style of the band, they let the jazz influences away, and take some influences from the minimalism, MIDI sounds to the guitar, and the drums, the stickman instead the bass guitar in some songs. They change the singer too, who plays the guitar, and with Robbert Fripp made some unique melodies.
It is my favourite album, because it made me change the perspective to see the music, my way to play the guitar, and some other stuff. Hope you listen the album, you will no regret about it.

My Future Job

Talk about the future it's something I like, and I like more if it's about my future job, because I'm studying something I really love, and what I want to do will make me very happy, be a Music Theory teacher is what I want to do, I think is fantastic give to the people the music knowledge I have, and is for that I want to be an university teacher, because people I will teach will be really interested in what I'm am talking to them. I'm thinking about to do an post grade in foreign lands (Europe maybe), but I want to execute my job here in chile, in this same university maybe (Universidad de Chile), if I have the opportunity, obviously, but I really want to travel around the world, know some places I ever want to know, Europe, North america, and maybe work there a few time, to have more experience, and have more opportunities here in Chile.
I think the thing I like the most about my future is that I will not be caught in a office for the rest of my life, I will be in classrooms, teaching, making music an all the things I love. I love my career, and I see an great future in my life, i really hope that.

I think, a few moments ago, that I don't had a favorite picture, because I think they are not very interesting things for me, not too much at least, but I have remember the pic I have in my wallpaper, because I really like that photo, well, it is not a photo by his own, it is more like an painting, but a picture of that painting will work. I like it because the colours, and the music is very present there, I really like the jazz trios, the potential with a few instruments. I think it is a perfect picture for me, it have the things I like, and if you ask me for another one, I will not know what to say...or maybe yes, I remember rigth now that I really like the historical pictures, especially the pictures of Santiago in passed decades, because I walk through that places everyday, and I love to know how that places were, like the Metro, or La Moneda, San Francisco church, and others, I recomend to visit "Fotos Historicas de Chile" at Facebook, there are a lot of them. I really like the page, hope you like it too.

My last day on Earth D:

Think about my last day on Earth make me a few sad, I love life, and I want to live the longest I can. But if I'm in my last day I can't feel sad obviously, I have to do the things I like the most, like play music in he street, that would be amazing for me, or if someone give an concert I would go to enjoy some music. But I can't spell al my last day playing and listen music of course (or maybe I can). At the time of launch I'd like to eat a huge banquet, with all the food I like (yes, like in a dream). At the evening I would spend some time with my family, maybe watch a movie or wherever. And after that I will ask them if we can go to El Cajon del Maipo, because is not too far from home, I love nature and go there would make me very happy. There, I would enjoy an pic-nic, and then I did search an little river and lie beside it, put my headphones and end my day just like it begans, listen some music.

Best Concert EVER!

It was the October 17th, 2010; my second massive concert, (the first one it was Metallica), Rush comes to first time (and maybe the last, sadly), over 36 years of career at that time and 19 studio albums (now they have 20, and 41 years playing) Rush is one of the most important Progressive Rock band of all time, and at this day they still sound amazing!, the ticket it was an birthday present from my aunt, I felt very happy when I knew I will go to Rush!

I'll never forget that concert, the respect of the audience, and the perfection of the performance made that concert unique in my life. I enjoyed that show totally, because I was at gallery, and that make me saw the complete concert, and appreciate it totally. the show lasted over two and a half hours, with and short break at the middle of the concert (because the age of the musicians) the longest concert of all my life, but I felt it very short, everyone want more, and I still want it, with 19 studio albums you want to hear everything, but well, the concert was amazing, one of the greatest day of my life!

COUNTRY I'D LIKE TO VISIT

I don't travel too much, not because I don't like it; I love it actually; but I don't have very many opportunities to go an know other places. There are many fabulous countries I'd like to know one time in my life at least. But the place I like the most is not a country, it's a region of the world, and it's called Europe, I'm in love with all the countries witch constitute Europe, for example, I would like to know the Louvre Museum (like a dream for me), or walk through the Norwegian Woods, have a travel in a boat through the rivers of Venecia, and too many others activities witch I would love to do.

I think Europe it's a beautiful place witch I would like to know, and live there if I have the opportunity, or even study music there, a few years at least, because Europe it's the center of the occidental music, and there are the greatest music academies of all the world (and at U.S.A too), that would give me too many chances here in Chile in my professional area. I hope my wishes come true one day, that will make me very happy.

How it was this semester?

Well, if you read my post "expectations for a new semester" you will see that I say that semester will be difficult, and YES, it was very difficult, I had to adapt me to this new ambient, and, yes, I did very well.
But, what makes this semester difficult?, well, I can blame to the mobilization who lasted 3 months, and that makes we lost too much classes, and when we returned, all the things comes above us, yes, we had very bad luck. The stressful thing it was piano, I studied all days over 2 hours, I was very scaried for not pass to piano II, but finally I passed the exam with a very good mark, I'm very quiet now. I still going to guitar clases, and playing in a band, that helped too much, because it distracted me for all the stress of piano, and makes me grow up as musician obviously. This semester makes me love too much the music, I feel very lucky for do what I ever wanted. I hope this new semester will be great, and I will pass it with really good marks, i really hope it.

Movies

I can't say too much about movies, I don't know about actors or directors, but I really like them. I usually watch a movie when I'm bored and I have nothing to do (well, that doesn't happen too much now, because of the university), when my family is at home and we want to see one, or when I go to the cinema, obviously. I used to go to the cinema, because my dad was an supervisor at Cine Hoyts, and we had free tickets to see any movie, maybe one of the best experiences i had at the cinema it was see a movie at IMAX, the largest screen at Chile, true 3D experience, and an HQ sound makes that cinema room wonderful. But my dad have a medical license now, and we can't go for free to the cinema until he recovered himself.
¿My favourite movie?, mmm...too hard, but it could be The Wolf Of Wall Street maybe, I can't take off my eyes for the screen when i see it, a very intense movie, the evolution of the main character is awesome. But I don't know too much about films, i'm very ignorant in that point, just see the movies for fun, and I don't care who is the director, or the name of the actors, maybe it's a big mistake from my part, but well, someday I will learn about the great universe of the films.

Music!

Well, it's pretty obvious what music means to me, all my life is based on music, my friends and most of the people I know are related to music.
The music started to be all for me at 2012, when I decided to study music, since that moment I was sure  how my life will be, and now I'm here, studying what I want, in the place that I want.
Well, I like a lot of music, from classical music to Heavy Metal, but the music i like the most it's the experimental and progressive music. Bands like Rush or King Crimson are my favorite, for example, I listen Rush since 2010, and still being awesome every time I listen them. And I started to listen King Crimson at 2013, the first time I listen them, I don't like too much, but now they are one of my favorites bands.
Good memories with music? I have a lot of them!, I just have to listen my favorites albums and a lot of memories come back to me, like concerts, travels, people, and other fabulous things. One of the concert I remember with too much affection, it's the Rush concert. at them Time Machine Tour, they came here at 2010 for first time, and maybe the last time too, and I had the opportunity to be there. It was a magical experience.
Another concert I remember with special love it was Roger Hodgson (from Supertamp), I didn't know him at that time, but my aunt invited me to see it for free, because 2 tickets were given to her by a company. After that I started to love his music, not too much artists can do that, sound better in live than in mp3 or CD.
I love music, every time impress me more, and I very proud to be part of it.

Food

I don't really have a favourite kind of food, but I'm pretty sure that one of my favourite are the artichoke, it's very simple, and it's more like a salad, but I think it have an unique taste, especially if you eat it with lemon, oil and salt. Another reason why I love it is the end, the thing called "potito" here, or the background in other places, smear it with lemon it's the best thing in the world!

But i'm not vegetarian, I love salad and vegetables in general, but nothing will keep me away from the meat. I really love the barbecues, with chicken, bovine, and pork, specially when there's pebre to accompany the meal. I like the noodles with tomato sauce too, very common actually, but it's really good, just like the lasagna! I really love the lasagna...
I don't cook too much things, but I know how to prepare chicken with rice, and it' pretty good, I like too much, and my sister too, just like the noodles with tomato sauce, and some others easy things. Well, in other words, I love the food too much, but I think i'm not alone in this world....

Robert

The person that I admire.

Robert Fripp was born on May 16th, 1946 , in England. He began to play the guitar with 11 years old , and is considerate one of the creators of the progressive movement. He is the lead guitar and composer of King Crimson, and is part of many projects on his own and with other musicians. Has been one of the most important inspirations for me at the last time, I listen to King Crimson over 2 years ago, and since that my musical tastes have evolve a lot, and that's the importance of Robert Fripp here, he has made me grow as a musician, an he makes me see the music with other eyes too. But the reason I like him the most is his brilliant guitar technique, and his posture at the stage: the low profile. He is the reason of the King Crimson existence and that makes him a very important figure on the music circle, and it is inspiration for many others important musicians too.

Maybe this picture could be normal for any person, or priceless, but for me it is a very important loop with our past. I don't know who took the picture, and it doesn't matter actually, the important it is what shows. The Santiago Subway, or Metro de Santiago, in 1975 one of the most important transport in Santiago sees the light. But, Why it's important that to me? In fact, its not the transport what it cares to me, it is the year when was token, 1975 specifically, the history of the transport, or the history of everything it's what matters to me. I choose the Subway because it's something we use daily, and i love to know the history of it. In conclusion, I am not referring to the photo itself , is the historical importance of each past photo that interests me . the important here is how it was, how was created, when, by who, and all those little clues which aproach me to have been there.
